How To

Connect to Computer

For the Intermec CN70E, you have to turn on the PxClient before it will be recognized by Windows Mobile Device Center.

Warm Boot

  • Press the Power button.

  • Select Reboot from the menu.

Cold Boot

WARNING

Cold booting any device can erase data and the TrackAbout software. Contact TrackAbout Support before attempting a cold boot.

  • Press the Power button to suspend the handheld.

  • Remove the handstrap and the battery pack.

  • Press the Reset button in the battery compartment.

  • Press power and wait until the handheld reboots.

Clean Boot

WARNING

Cold booting any device can erase data and the TrackAbout software. Contact TrackAbout Support before attempting a cold boot.

  • Remove the battery pack from the back of the handheld.

  • With a stylus, press the Reset button in the battery cavity.

  • Insert the battery back into the handheld and immediately press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button.

  • Continue to hold the Power button and the Volume Down button until you are prompted to release them.

  • Press the Volume Up button to start the clean boot.

  • Wait for the handheld to load files from its ROM.
