Push Notifications for Orders

Push Notifications for Orders is a feature that lets you give your TrackAbout Mobile 7 users a head’s up when a new order for their route is created and loaded on their assigned truck.

The notification appears as a notification on their mobile device and gives them the option to start the delivery or deliver it later.

Conditions for Order Push Notifications

For your TrackAbout Mobile 7 users to receive notifications when a new order for their route is created:

• Your TrackAbout must be configured to allow Urgent Order, Normal Order notices, or both. Contact TrackAbout Support for assistance in turning on this feature.

For a notification to be sent to a user when a new order for their route is created and loaded on the assigned truck:

• The planned delivery date of the order must be the same day the order was created.

• The order’s Delivery Priority is set to Urgent or Normal.

• The user’s TrackAbout Mobile 7 must be installed with notifications enabled.

• The user’s TrackAbout Mobile 7 must be set up with Delivery with Integrated Order Sync.

• The user must have other orders on their device with the same trip number as the new order.

• The user’s Branch, Route, and Truck must match the order’s Deliver From Location, Delivery Route, and Truck.

• The truck the user is assigned to must have been loaded for the trip in either the last 18 hours (if using Simple Load Truck) or six days (if using picking and loading by trip number).

Manually Setting the Delivery Priority

If your TrackAbout is integrated with your ERP system, priority can be set when an order is created using your ERP.

You can set the Delivery Priority when manually creating a new order (or editing an existing one) by selecting a priority from the Delivery Priority drop-down.
