Fill Tracking

Cylinders are scanned during filling and their status changes from empty to full. A very basic form of Fill will require simply that an asset be scanned, although more commonly, a basic fill can also ask for a product code to be selected, or the system determines it using Product Code Generation.

A lot number is commonly collected, but even without one, the system can still find all of the cylinders that were filled together.

This system can become very robust where user permissions to fill the specific gas are checked, the product code is auto-generated, the lot number is auto-generated, lot stickers are printed, and various safety checks are performed.

Filling can either be done one cylinder at a time or by scanning an entire pallet at a time. A single operator can have multiple fill operations running at the same time.

Work Orders for Filling

TrackAbout can receive work orders from another system that specify what should be filled, where, and when.

Prefill Inspections

There are three types of "Pre Fill Inspections" available through TrackAbout Mobile 6:

  • Prefill Inspections — Scanning Assets

  • Prefill Inspections — No Assets are Scanned

  • Sort Assets and Sort Container — Cylinders are scanned during sorting and those that require maintenance or have other blocks on them are flagged and can be separated.

Filling Racks

Racks can be setup and configured with their product (gas) and maximum working pressure. This is then used to ensure safety and compliance as well as to auto-generate product codes and/or lot numbers.

Fill by Pressure vs Fill by Weight

Different products can be setup to be filled by pressure or by weight and different properties are asked for based on this difference.

Volume/Weight Tracking

Allows for the tracking of tare weight, full weight, and weight of contents.

Variable Volume

Track the fill volume of each asset.
